Mou Ghose, MA MFT

Moushumi Ghose (formerly Wilson) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#MCF44134), with a Bachelor's of Arts in Clinical Psychology, emphasis in Human Sexuality from San Francisco State University, and Master of Art's degree from Pepperdine University, in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Science. Mou is also a Certified Hypnotherapist through the American Alliance of Hypnotists.

Mou has been an activist and an advocate for sexual freedom for many years. She is currently working towards a Sex Therapist Certification through AASECT.org (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists).

Mou also has extensive experience working with a variety of populations and diverse lifestyles. She has provided direct service in various settings, including working with individuals and families affected by HIV/Aids, sexual abuse survivors, drug addiction, sex offenders and families of sex offenders, foster children, emotionally disturbed children and their families.

Mou recently finished an e-book in Sept 2011, entitled "Marriage, Money and Porn: Navigating and Surviving The 21st Century Relationship," which is a compilation of articles she wrote on sex and relationships. The e-book also contains some extras by other writers also on the topic of relationships.

Mou is dedicated to continuous improvement of her knowledge base and clinical skills and is currently studying Sex Therapy under the supervision of Dr. Linda De Villers and has also studied extensively with Dr. Stella Resnick and Dr. Patti Britton.
